OUR ORIGIN STORY

Vision Groundwork Consulting was formed in March 2026 by Gary Kinte Perry, Ph.D.

As Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, Gary Kinte Perry created Vision Groundwork as a way to further his life’s work of supporting and inspiring leaders as they cultivate their grounded vision.

His work to support the growth and development of visionary leaders is informed by a combination of lived experiences: his small-town upbringing in a close-knit community in South Louisiana; his mentorship by influential leaders throughout his life; and his 20+ years of leadership experiences as a college educator, a community organizer, a creative, a thought-partner, and a visionary.

Gary Kinte Perry desires to share his wealth of knowledge, skills, and trusted relationships with other leaders on their journey to lead with a grounded vision.
